Koding Launches, Backed By $2M in Funding

San Francisco-based Koding, an online, cloud-based development environment for software developers, said today that it has raised $2M in a Series A funding, and launched its platform. The funding came from RTP Ventures and Greycroft Partners. Koding.com is headed by Devrim Yasar. Koding's platform helps make it easier for developers to develop applications, by providing browser- and device-based editing, setup, and tools. silicontap had uncovered the Series A funding in October of last year.
