The Minerva Project Raises $25M For New University

San Francisco-based The Minerva Project, which says it is creating a new, "elite" American University, has raised $25M in a funding round, led by Benchmark Capital. The firm says it is establishing a university relying on the "most demanding intellectual standards" for admissions, and will provide lifelong support to alumni with academic programs, personal publicity, and active participation in career management.
