Ambarella Updates IPO Plans

Santa Clara-based Ambarella looks to be kicking back into gear with its IPO plans, saying today that it has filed an updated S-1. The firm, which develops semiconductors used for high definition video capture and display, has applied to list its share on the NASDAQ Global Market as AMBA. The firm's IPO is being underwritten by Morgan Stanley & Co., Deutsche Bank Securities, Stifel Nicolaus Weisel and Needham & Company, LLC. The company had initially filed for its IPO back in June of 2011, but has been dormant in maintaining its S-1 filing since that time.
