Barracuda Networks Lands $130M, Eyes IPO
Campbell-based Barracuda Networks has raised $130M in a funding round, according to reports this week, from Sequoia Capital and Francisco Partners. According to Bloomberg, the funds will go to cash out the firm's founders and early employees. Barracuda Networks is a developer of security, storage, and spam filtering appliances for the enterprise market; the report said the move comes as the company plans to file for an IPO.
