vArmour Secures $6M
Santa Clara-based vArmour Networks, a developer of security software specifically aimed at virtualized infrastructure and data centers, has raised $6M in a Series A funding. The firm said the round was led by Highland Capital Partners. Corey Mulloy of Highland Capital joins the company's board with the funding. vArmoru said it is developing software-defined security, which is aimed at securing virtualized data centers and eliminating bottlenecks in data centers. The firm is headed by Roger Lian, formerly of NetScreen. More information »
