Wowza Media Acquires Camfoo

Wowza Media Systems, the developer of media serving software which has offices in Mountain View, announced today that it has acquired Camfoo, a provider of cloud media streaming and transcoding services. Financial details of the acquisition deal were not disclosed. Wowza Media Systems is based in Evergreen, Colorado, but also has offices in Mountain View. Wowza said Camfoo's team has development and delivered over 1,000 streaming media projects since 2006.
