Embarcadero Buys Business From CA Technologies

San Francisco-based Embarcadero said Thursday afternoon that it has acquired the data modeling business line from CA Technologies, CA ERwin. Financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed. CA's ERwin Data Modeling product is aimed at helping companies with data modeling, data management, database development and app development. Embarcadero also said it has hired a number of employees associated with CA Technologies' business line.
