Drop Serves Up $2M Seed Funding For Smart Cooking Scale
San Francisco-based Drop, which is developing a connected kitchen scale and associated tablet app to help improve the skills of home bakers, has raised $2M in a seed funding round, the company said yesterday. The funding came from Frontline Ventures and Innovation Works, along with PCH, VegasTechFund and WI Harper Group. Drop's smart scale costs $99, and connects to an iPad app to help bakers carefully follow through recipes. More information »
