Equinix To Buy Telecity Group For $3.6 Billion

San Francisco-based Equinix> said Friday morning that it is buying UK-based data center operator Telecity Group. in a deal worth approximately $3.6 billion. Equinix said that it will provide cash and stock for Telecity, giving TelecityGroup shareholders approximately 10.1 percent of the combined company after close.
