Visa Acquires CardinalCommerce

San Francisco-based Visa said last week that it has agreed to acquire Ohio-based CardinalCommerce, a provider of e-commerce payment authorization tools. CardinalCommerce will continue to be based in Mentor, Ohio. Visa said CardinalCommerce's fraud prevention technology will go to help secure transactions made by browser, mobile app, or connected devices
