Visa Buys Fraedom

Foster City-based Visa said late Thursday evening that it has acquired UK-based Fraedom, a provider of technology and services for the business-to-business payments area. Financial details of the buy were not announced. Visa said that Fraedom has been a partner for ten years, and its technology is used to power Visa's IntelliLink Spend Management platform.
