RiskIQ Acquires Threat Mitigation Firm Maccabim

San Francisco-based RiskIQ, which develops digital threat management software, has acquired Maccabim.com Ltd., a provider of threat project management services. Financial terms of the acquisition were not announced. RiskIQ says it has named Jonathan Matkowsky, founder of Maccabim, as its new Vice President of Intellectual Property and Brand Security. RiskIQ said the buy specifically bolsters dispute resolution proceedings and takedown functions at the company. RiskIQ is backed by Georgian Partners, Summit Partners, Battery Ventures, and MassMutual Ventures.
