Sensely Snags $8M For Virtual Medical Assistants
San Francisco-based Sensely, a developer of "virtual" medical assistant software, which helps physicians monitor a patient's health, has raised $8M in a Series B funding round. The company's virtual, on-screen assistants run on mobile phones and tablets, and help ask patients about their health status. The funding was led by Chengwei Capital, and also included Bioveda Ventures, Fenox Venture Capital, Mayo Clinic, and Stanford StartX. Sensely is led by Adam Odessky. More information »
