Rigetti Computing Gets $64M For Quantum Computing
Berkeley-based Rigetti Computing, a startup working on quantum computing, has raised $64M in two round of funding. According to Rigetti, it raised $24M in a Series A funding, and $40M in a Series B funding. The Series A was led by Andreessen Horowitz. The Series B funding was led by Vy Capital. Both rounds also included Y Combinator's Continuity Fund, Data Collective, FF Science, AME Cloud Ventures, Morado Ventures, and WTI, with additional Series A investors Sutter Hill Ventures, Susa Ventures, Streamlined Ventures, Lux Capital, and Bloomberg Beta. As part of the Series A, Vijay Pande of Andreessen Horowitz joins the company's board.
