Lambda School Gets $4M Trades Computer Sciences Training For Students' Future In

San Ramon-based Lambda School, which provides computer and technical training--for free--in exchange for a percent of a student's future income--has raised $4M in funding, the company said this week. The seed funding round came from Y Combinator and Tandem Capital. Lambda School said that the total amount of repayments by its students are capped at a pre-determined, maximum amount.
