Cisco Completes Duo Security Buy
San Jose-based Cisco said on Monday that it completed its acquisition of Michigan's Duo Security. The deal had been announced in August, and was worth $2.35 billion in cash and assumed equity awards. Duo develops unified access and multi-factor authentication software, used to verify the identity of users before they are allowed into corporate applications. Cisco said the deal will help it accelerate its "intent-based networking" strategy.
