Whitebox Security Acquired By SailPoint

Sunnyvale-based Whitebox Security, a developer of data protection tools, has been acquired by identity management software developer SailPoint. Financial terms of the acquisition were not announced. Whitebox had been founded in 2007, and has its R&D operations in Israel. Whitebox Security was co-founded by Maor Goldberg, Shlomi Wexler, and Eran Leib, all of whom had been part of the cybersecurity division of the Israel Defense Forces prior to founding Whitebox.
