Autodesk Buys REALVIZ, Complets Kynogon Acquisition

San Rafael-based Autodesk said Wednesday that it has acquired REALVIZ, a French firm which develops image content creation software. Separately, the firm also said that it has completed its acquisition of Kynogon SA, a developer of artificial intelligence middleware. Financial terms of the deals were not disclosed. REALVIZ develops software used for panoramic photography, image stitching, motion capture, and 3D modeling; Kynogon SA develops software is used for computer gaming titles for providing spatial awareness to characters.
