Cisco Buys Ubiquisys

San Jose-based networking equipment provider Cisco announced this morning that it would acquire UK-based 3G and LTE technology developer Ubiquisys, in a deal worth $310M in cash. Cisco said the buy would strengthen its mobility expertise. Ubiquisys makes small cell equipment licensed 3G and LTE spectrum.
