Gear6 Raises $10M For Storage Acceleration

Menlo Park-based Gear6, a provider of equipment for accelerating storage, said today that it has raised $10M in a round of venture funding. Funding came from InterWest Partners, and also included participation by prior investor U.S. Venture Partners. Gear6 said that its products will eliminate bottlenecks and deliver guaranteed performance to existing storage infrastructures.
