Symmetricom Acquires IPTV Testing Firm

San Jose-based Symmetricom said Wednesday that it has acquired Camarillo-based QoSmetrics, a provider of testing equipment for the IPTV and triple play market. The deal was worth $16M in cash. QoSmetrics is a manufacturer of testing equipment used for monitoring IPTV, video streams, and voice over IP traffic.
