Equinix Completes IXEurope Buy

Foster City-based Equinix said today that it has completed its acquisition of IXEurope plc. The acquisition had originally been announced in June, and was worth approximately $550M in cash. Equinix said that the acquisition was approved by IXEurope's shareholders and the UK courts. IXEurope provides network-neutral colocation in Europe, and operates centers in Dusseldorf, Frankfurt, Geneva, London, Munich, Paris and Zurich.
