Sigma Designs Completes VXP Acquisition

Milpitas-based Sigma Designs said Monday that it has completed its acquisition of the VXP Image Processing business from Gennum Corporation. The deal was worth $18M in cash. According to Sigma, it has added approximately 46 employees from Gennum as part of the acquisition. The deal was originally announced on January 2nd.
