LinkedIn, NYTimes Connect On News

Social networking site LinkedIn and the New York Times said Monday that the two have inked a deal, where the NYTimes will provide news to professionals on LinkedIn. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. According to the two, the deal will feature and highlight news relevant to their professional industry from New York Times. For example, the firms said that LinkedIn members in the energy sector will have the option to receive relevant articles from the Times covering the energy business.
