LinkedIn Adds Discussions, Group Enhancements
Mountain View-based social networking service LinkedIn is bolstering the firm's group features this Friday, the firm told its customers Tuesday, as it looks to add several "much-requested" features by its users around LinkedIn for Groups, the company's set of features focused on helping groups manage networking between their members. According to LinkedIn, it will be ading discussion forums for groups, an enhanced roster of group members, and email digests of discussions, along with a new group home page for members of groups on LinkedIn. The firm said it believes the new features will spur communications, promote collaboration, and make groups more valuable to members.
