Palantir Technologies Nabs $34.9M
Palo Alto-based Palantir Technologies, a developer of analysis and visualization software for the financial and intelligence/defense markets, has raised $34.9M in a new funding round, according to a regulatory filing by the firm. No details on the funding have been announced by the company. Palantir has prevoiusly raised funding from the Founders Fund, In-Q-Tel, and Reed Elsevier Ventures. The firm's board includes PayPal's Peter Thiel, and was founded by former PayPal employees and Stanford researchers. More information »
