Palantir Pulls In $68M
Stealthy, Palo Alto-based Palantir Technologies, the developer of analytics software for the intelligence and financial industry headed by Alexander Karp, has just raised $68M in new funding, according to a regulatory filing by the firm this week. Source of the new funding, which came from 2 investors, was not disclosed. Palantir is based on research out of Stanford and PayPal, and is being applied to analyze relationships and data for U.S. intelligence agencies, as well as for ferreting out financial fraud and other issues.
