Navdy Finds Funding For Heads Up Display For Your Car
San Francisco-based Navdy, which develops a heads up display (HUD) it likens to a "Google Glass for Cars", has raised $6.5M in a funding round, the company said this morning. The funding was led by Upfront Ventures, and also included Ludlow Ventures, Lightbank, Promus Ventures, MESA+ I, Eniac Ventures, Wareness.io, as well as others. The seed funding will go towards hiring additional software and hardware talent and scale up its manufacturing plans. Other investors in the round included Shervin Pishevar, Brad Feld, Eric Ries, Naval Ravikant, Semil Shah, Don Norman, and Dan Shapiro.
