Sense.ly Finds $2.2M For Virtual, AI Nurse
San Francisco-based Sense.ly, which is looking to apply artificial intelligence to help engage with patients and better monitor chronic diseases, said today that it has raised $2.2M in a Series A funding. The funding came from Launchpad Digital Health, Fenox Venture Capital, and TA Ventures. The startup says it is using machine learning and artificial intelligence to help support, monitor, and manage medical conditions, via a "virtual nurse", who takes vitals measurements, chats with patients about their pain, sleep, stress, and diet, and connects those patients to a doctor if necessary.
