Bloomlife Gets $2.3M In Research Grants For Pregnancy Wearable

San Francisco-based Bloomlife, a developer of wearables aimed at fetal monitoring and preterm labor detection, has raised $2.3M in two grants, the company said today. The funding came from the Horizon 2020 Framework Programme of the European Union under the SME instrument, and Belgian based Flanders Innovation and Entrepreneurship. The funding will go towards commercialization of its wearables, according to the company. Bloomlife's co-founder and CEO is Eric Dy. Bloomlife is backed by Marc Benioff and Efficient Capacity, LanzaTech Ventures, MeusInvest, Hanmi IT, The Chernin Group, Kapor Capital, and Act One Ventures.
