VantagePoint Adds Green Experts

San Bruno-based venture capital firm VantagePoint Venture Partners said Tuesday that the firm has added two new partners focused on clean technology. The firm said that it has added Brad Mattson and Mark Platshon to the firm. Mattson was founder, CEO and Chairman of Novellus; Platshon was most recently at Trident Capital, and has served at XSeed Capital; has also had stints at Idetek, ELO, Zing, and Capnia. VantagePoint manages over $4.5 billion in committed capital.
